Clinical Mental Health Services

Taos Behavioral Health offers compassionate, evidence-based mental health counseling for individuals ages 7 and up. Our licensed clinicians provide tailored support for a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns, using approaches that promote resilience, healing, and positive growth. While we do not specialize in severe mental illnesses, we are equipped to help clients develop healthy coping skills, navigate life challenges, and improve overall wellbeing.

Support Groups

Group-based therapeutic support for ages 7 and up, offering connection, education, and skill-building in a safe, guided environment. Groups help participants build confidence, improve communication, and navigate challenges alongside peers with similar experiences.

Psychiatry / Medication Management

Psychiatry is a branch of medicine that specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental health disorders. Medication Management is a facet of psychiatry that involves prescribing, monitoring and adjusting medications for a variety of psychiatric symptoms and diagnoses. We now offer both in-person and telehealth Psychiatric Medication Management (first visit will always be required in-person). Our team of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners provide comprehensive and ongoing assessments, integrating pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic modalities to encourage healing and symptom support.

Comprehensive Community Support Services

Skill-building and supportive guidance for youth ages 7 and up in school, at home, and throughout the community. CCSS focuses on independence, emotional regulation, social development, and accessing needed resources.

Clinical Summer & Winter Programing

A structured seasonal program that offers therapeutic activities, skill-building opportunities, and emotional support during school breaks. Youth (ages 7 to 18) engage in group-based interventions designed to strengthen coping skills, social connections, and positive behavior

Nurturing Center

Family-focused support services that strengthen stability and ensure families have access to the care and resources they need. The Nurturing Center helps caregivers navigate services, understand family systems, and build a reliable support network.
